The theme for the next Met Gala has been revealed as "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion." The exhibit will showcase treasured garments from the Costume Institute's collection, many of which are rarely seen due to their fragility. Curator Andrew Bolton aims to bring the garments to life by engaging the senses of museum-goers, including sight, smell, and sound.
