Ajnala violence: Amritsar top cop shifted

Five days after self-proclaimed radical preacher Amritpal Singh and his armed supporters laid siege to Ajnala police station in Punjab's Amritsar district, the AAP government carried out a police reshuffle on Tuesday that saw police commissioner Jaskaran Singh being replaced with additional DGP (personnel) Naunihal Singh. Jaskaran will now head the intelligence wing as an officer of the rank of IGP.
