A Kolkata-based businessman is on the CID's radar after leads emerged Monday about him handing over Rs 49 lakh to an aide of the three arrested Jharkhand Congress MLAs from whose car a similar pile of cash was seized when they were passing through Howrah late Saturday. The money is suspected to be a cog in the alleged conspiracy to destabilise the Hemant Soren-led coalition government in Jharkhand.
