13 killed as heavy rains lash K'taka and Kerala

With monsoon gaining strength in Kerala and neighbouring Karnataka, at least 13 people have died in rain-related incidents in both the states in the last 36 hours. While Kerala recorded six deaths on Tuesday, seven casualties were reported from Karnataka the day before.
