The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to bite the "impending examination and loss of academic year" bait thrown by a Muslim girl student to seek urgent hearing on her plea challenging a Karnataka HC verdict upholding ban on wearing of hijab to schools and colleges. "Examinations have nothing to do with the issue (hijab). Do not sensationalise (the issue)," CJI Ramana said.
