Maha govt has liberal policy on Covid death payouts: Officials

The BMC has approved more claims for ex-gratia for Covid-19 victims than the official death toll, and Maharashtra expects its total approved claims to be higher than the official toll.On Monday, additional chief secretary Dr Pradeep Vyas held a meeting with districts to expedite the claims.
